Igapó
In the central part of the Amazon are wide forests, which allmost constantly are under water. Dit area is called Igapó. There isn't many growth in these areas, just like the mangrove it's adjusted to the high level of water.
The ground is very poor and there also doesn't live many fish. Which leads to less animal visitors in the area. The water is clear, but also very brown because of the leaves of the trees.
